Born in Texas and living in Youngsville NC Celtic Cattery features British Shorthair
(BSH) cats. I’ve owned various cat breeds for many years - always spay/neutered. I've also owned, showed and bred
Miniature Horses and Shar-pei dogs. When the kids grew up, I still wanted to do something with animals but less stressful. I researched different breeds of cats to start my small cattery and fell in love with this breed. Incredibly blessed to have gotten expert advice from some of the foremost breeders in the country, I acquired breeding cats that met the health, temperament and beauty criteria that I felt was important to me and would be important to my customers.

Married for 26 years and divorced since 2014, I live with my son, daughter-in-law, and grandbaby in Youngsville NC. I retired in 2020 from my job as a certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist. I have three children…daughter living in San Antonio TX with her husband and five children, daughter living in
Atlanta GA, and son living in Youngsville NC with his wife and daughter. All successful in life and career. Blessed to have such wonderful children and so proud of them. |

Our British Shorthair cats have their own separate buildings with laminate flooring, air conditioning and heating, live camera surveillance, and two cat trees. Both have screened in porches with cat doors so they can go in and out as they please. Pregnant females stay in my room for a week before birth to two months after kittens are born, and then they are moved to the assigned cat house.
